Professionalism (PRO) is 1 of the 12 content areas identified within the 2014 WI Core Competencies for Professionals Working with Young Children and their Families. This competency focuses on professionals working with children and families in a professional, reflective manner; participating as a collaborative partner with other professionals; and utilizing strategies to evaluate program outcomes.
Early Childhood Guiding Practices (webpage) – from WDPI this resource includes guidance about quality practices, environments & opportunities for children as well as information about the developmental continuum of the WI Model Early Learning Standards.
The Child Care and Early Education Glossary (website) defines terms used to describe aspects of child care and early education practice and policy. (Terms may vary by state and systems)
