Early Childhood Health Consultation (website) This project is a partnership between the UW-Madison School of Human Ecology & Wisconsin Department of Children & Families. They offer print and video resources, webinars, and a podcast all specific to early childhood. In addition, ECHC offers tailored health consultations to a growing number of providers in the state. 

Health Education (webpage) – This page on the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction website contains information and resources related to health education, including links to the Wisconsin Standards for Health Education and the Wisconsin Standards for Physical Education

Maternal and Child Health (webpage) – The Wisconsin Department of Health Services offers information on services and programs that promote health.

Resilient Wisconsin (webpage) – Here you can learn about resilience, learn how to build it in your life and your community, and find resources to help people and communities be connected, stronger, and thriving.

Children’s Health Alliance of Wisconsin (website) – Find information on several Wisconsin initiatives including medical home, emergency care, environmental health, injury prevention, food security & oral health.

Well Badger Resource Center (website) – Well Badger Resource Center is a one-stop connection to community, social, health, and government programs. Well Badger focuses on the following six areas of support: child health, financial and legal assistance, health care coverage and services, mental health and substance use, nutrition services, and pregnancy & parenting help. Support from this 1-800 number is available from 7a-6p, M-F.

Policy Statement to Support the Alignment of Health and Early Learning Systems (pdf) – The US Departments of Health & Human Services & Education developed this policy statement to support States and communities in their efforts to better coordinate, align & enhance health and early learning systems in order to promote the healthy development, early learning and well-being of all children from Birth – Kindergarten entry in the US.

National Center on Health, Behavioral Health and Safety (NCHBHS) (website) – The site provides resources to numerous topics that support the NCECHW’s goal to advance best practices for linking health & early childhood education systems, healthcare professionals & families.

HealthyChildren.org (website) – from the American Academy of Pediatrics, this site offers information for parents on healthy living, safety & prevention, family life, health issues, news, tips & tools.

KidsHealth.org (website) – Advice on children’s health, behavior, and growth – from before birth through the teen years. This site also includes resources for educators.

Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Prevention (website) – The CDC offers an alphabetical index of health-related topics.

Family Foundations Home Visiting Program (webpage) – Here you can learn more about home visiting programs, watch a Family Foundations informational video, locate home visiting programs across Wisconsin, and access parent resources.
